Earthtec has pioneered the use of woven mesh products “gabions” in the Australian market and has completed most of the successful such constructions in recent years including Svarmisk Resort, Waverton Park, Waverly Park (the Mirvac prestige redevelopment of the former AFL Ground), the Five Star Qualia Resort on Hamilton Island and the 3.5km long, free standing, combined landscape & flood wall at the iconic Flemington Race Course which presents an impressive backdrop along the finishing straight in November, each year at the Melbourne Cup.
Attention to detail and highly experienced construction crews have enabled Earthtec to establish a well justified reputation for high quality work in this challenging market and we have been rewarded with repeat business from existing clients and from discerning new clients seeking the confidence that the completed work will meet their exacting aesthetic requirements.
As with Landscaping the use of mesh products has been relatively limited in Australia until recent years. There is however, a growing demand for feature walls and facades and Earthtec is proud to have been involved with the Master Builders Award Winning development at the Wagga Wagga School of Dentistry. Affectionately known to us as the “School of Rock” this project proved to be particularly challenging due to the extreme weather conditions encountered at site so the projects’ Master Builders Award was a fitting endorsement of the teams’ efforts and the projects quality as a whole.
Recent works using alternative weldmesh products at the West Dapto Leagues club have consolidated Earthtec’s reputation for high quality works and client orientated focus to deliver a superior project outcome with minimal disruption to other site activities.
